      • 12-month non-facilities staff can leave and finish the day remotely or choose to stay

      • 12-month facilities staff should plan to remain at work unless directed otherwise by the Superintendent and CFO

      Elementary Schools: 1:05 p.m.

      Middle Schools:     2:10 p.m. 

      High Schools:        2:15 p.m. 

      Early Childhood:    No PM 

      Early Release with CO remaining open

      • 9, 10 & 11 month staff leave at the designated release time

      • All 12-month employees, CO and Building remain at work unless the supervisor approves remote work

      • All 12-month employees, CO, Building and Facilities staff report to work unless the supervisor approves remote work.

      Additionally, any 12-month employee may use paid time off in lieu of coming in or working remotely.

      • 9, 10, & 11-month employees stay home

      Snow Day - NOT Remote, extreme weather conditions where the county instructs everyone to stay off of the roads because they are hazardous.

      • 9, 10 & 11-month employees stay home

      • All 12-month CO & Building employees should work remotely unless they work it out with their supervisor to come into work.

      • 12-month facilities?

      Weather Delayed Start - 1 Hour Day (BEA, BASS, BEST)

      • All staff can arrive 25 minutes prior to late start school start time if later notify the school office

      1 Hour Delay Only (Student Start Times)


      Elementary Schools: 8:40 a.m. 

      Middle Schools: 9:38 a.m. 

      High Schools: 9:20 a.m.  

      Early Childhood: 9-10:30 a.m. and 12-2:30 p.m

      Weather Delayed Start - 2 Hour Day (BEA, BASS, BEST)

      • All staff can arrive 25 minutes prior to late start school start time if later notify the school office

      Weather Delay for BEA Employees who report to work early and then the District closes

      If a BEA employee reports to work earlier on a weather delay and the school/district closes for emergency reasons. The following guidance will be followed:


      If the employee is driving to work and an announcement is made to close the school due to an emergency situation the employee will be entitled to one (1) hour of comp time to be used as an early out on the last teacher contract day aka Records Day. 


      If the employee is already on school property (ie. parking lot, classroom, office, etc.) and an announcement is made to close the school due to an emergency situation the employee will be entitled to two (2) hours of comp time to be used as an early out on the last teacher contract day aka Records Day.

      Weather Delay for non-certified employees who clock in and out who report to work early when the District closes

      If a BEST/ESP employee reports to work earlier on a weather delay and the school/district closes for emergency reasons. The following guidance will be followed:


      If the employee punches the time clock upon arrival and then the school/district closes, the employee punches out and is paid for their time at work.
