WOW Samples and Ken Appointments 2020
WOW samples are used to spark customer interest in new product offerings.
2020 WOW Goals
- Increase customer yearly order frequency.
- i.e. Customers that only order in the 4th quarter: Our goal is to have them place orders in the winter, spring and summer.
- Show new product to customers
- Show the new 2020 Sanmar line.

1Select 6 Seasonal WOW productsSeasonal WOW products will be planned out for the entire 2020 year.
- Select 6 WOW items, so Ruthie can run on the six head.
- Select seasonal WOW products
- winter, spring, summer and fall (4 sized items: i.e. polo, jacket...)
- 2 non-sized items (beanie, blanket, bag).
- Select new 2020 items that pertain to the customer's tastes and industry.

2Create target customer listPrimary Target Customer List: Current Customers
- Current customers that spent $1,500 in the last year.
- Construction niche.
- Location of customer: The outside sales rep will be delivering the samples, so they need to be in a 10-15 mile radius of the factory.
Secondary Target Customer List: Old "Warm" customers- Warm customers (Last ordered 1-2 years ago) that spent $1,500 in their last year.
- Construction niche
- Location of customer: The outside sales rep will be delivering the samples, so they need to be in a 10-15 mile radius of the factory.
OLD Customers: (COLD Customers)- Most difficult customer. Many have new buyers or the company is out of business.
- Sales rep must do their homework and try to revive these customers.
- They haven't purchased in 3 or more years.

3CSR calls Customer for Sizes and Logo
- CSR to call customer for their size.
- Note the person's full name and size in Shopworks customer section: NOTES on Customer
- Customer's TAB, Notes
Remember to ask the following
- Confirm their logo and thread colors we will be using on the WOW.
- We will digitize their logo for free if they don't have an embroidered logo on file.
- Confirm contact info: email, address, phone. Update Shopworks with correct info.
- Get the DRIVING ADDRESS so rep can drop off.
- Verify the other contacts are still good. If not, delete from Shopworks.

4Input Wow order into Shopworks
- Enter as a WOW Embroidery
- PO Number: Seasonal
- Terms: NO Charge
Use Vendor 2425 (44 Sanmar) on line items
Reminders:
- Shipping: Select Sales Rep Delivery: Make sure you have the correct DRIVING address for the sales rep. No PO boxes.
- Artwork: Select the correct artwork and verify thread colors. If you are unsure, please ASK Ruthie. Don't guess the logo, always confirm.

5Logo on file or needs to be digitizeIf we don't have their embroidered logo on file, we will need to digitize it.

6Digitize New Logo
- Get new artwork from customer
- verify thread colors with customer.
- Assign new design number in shopworks
- Use the digitizing form and send the logo to Ruthie for digitizing.
- Once completed, send logo to customer for approval.
In the meantime you can order the blank garments. -
7Send order to purchasing
- Fill out the purchasing form.
- Note this is a 44 account order.

- Receive
- Embroider
- Finished Order placed on 44 shelf

9CSR makes appointment for sales rep to deliverCSR checks 44 shelf
- CSR will check the 44 shelf for new product.
- The product will be labeled by the customer name. The product that is next for delivery will be on the top of the stack.

11Sales Rep Records Sales Call in Shopworks
- Sales rep records under customer Activity their sales call. What they talked about and the next action stop.

12CSR makes another appointment in 3 months
- The CSR will watch the WOW shelf to see what item will be delivered next
- Schedule the sales rep an appointment 3 months after last WOW delivery.
This schedule can be modified based on sales rep discretion. Our goal is to continually have the sales rep in front of the customer to make a lasting relationship. -
13120 Contacts Per Quarter by Outside Sales Rep
- The outside sales rep is expected to make 120 in person sales calls per quarter (every 3 months)
Break down
- Visit 2 accounts per day (10 per week)
- 40 visits per month
- 120 visits per quarter.
