Credit Policy

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that Northwest Custom Apparel will be able to make sales with the assurance of being paid for what we deliver. Credit should be thought of as making an unsecured loan to a stranger. Banks don’t do it, why should we.

    Tips for Screen Credit

    • Check a customer’s account balance when writing the order. Call customer if the account is out of line with our credit terms. In all cases be diplomatic in explaining the problem to the customer.

    • Be wary of out of state new customers who promise future big orders. Be leery of anyone leaving his or her current supplier. Generally, they have exhausted their credit and are looking for new pigeons.

    • Rush orders who can’t wait for credit approval. These are frequently a scam. Get all money up front to be safe.

    • Large companies who frequently shop their orders because they have worn their credit out with their current suppliers.

    • People buying for groups, clubs, or non-profit organizations. Often they don’t have the approval to buy.
