Addition Question

The purpose of these questions is to ascertain the personality and way of thinking that a person fulfilling such a role would have and how they would behave. These are additional questions for senior roles, which are part of SOAPE. These include the following positions:

• School Director
• Educational Leaders
• Experience & Office Coordinator
• Not All Acting Roles are also required to completed these questions

Extra Interview Questions

Inform them that their role is a Jack of All Trades Role – you need to be able to wear a number of hats.

• How are you planning to engage the ECTs and Educators in your role, especially with the big move to EarlyWorks?

• What are your IT skills? Eg. what will you do to upskill on SmartCentral – occupancy is obviously a big factor for the school.

• What is your understanding of the regulations? Are you able to answer questions on the spot eg. by a parent, and deal with things if they confront you?

• What do you see as your top two priorities in relation to education at the School?

Some days, you may be the only one running the School – are you prepared to take on this responsibility?

Are you able to run Staff Meetings and Training after hours and at lunchtime?
