Publishing a company blog post

  1. Having written the post

    Find two images for the blog post that are relevant for the content.

    Insert them into the post at appropriate places.

    Ensure that they are aligned with the right hand side not the left, and have a very good caption that fits the text. Often people will read headings + captions and not your article at all.
  2. Get co-worker to proof read

    They should pick up any typos, and highlight things that are not explained clearly.
  3. Give the post some publicity

    Tweet the post

    email directly to people that you know personally that would be interested.
