• Using your web browser, go to the SafeSchools website for your academy.
• NCA Vector/SafeSchools
• OCA Vector/SafeSchools

• A Username will be provided to each faculty and staff member that requires training.
• Enter your Username.

• Each employee will be provided with a Vector/SafeSchools training plan along with coursework status including:
  • Course Name
  • Days Till Due
  • Due Date
  • Time Required
  • Course Status (Not Started, Completed, etc.)

The required training courses may vary per district. Please refer to the school specific documents section below for more information and/or contact your school leaders. 

The following courses are some of the courses that are typically required:

1. Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Prevention (Support Staff)
2. Child Abuse: Mandatory Reporting (Full Course (Florida))
3. FERPA: Confidentiality of Records (Full Course)
4. Hazard Communication: Right to Understand (GHS) (Full Course)
5. Health Emergencies: Asthma Awareness (Full Course)
6. Health Emergencies: Diabetes Awareness (Full Course)
7. Health Emergencies: Life-Threatening Allergies (Full Course)
8. Health Emergencies: Seizures (Full Course)
9. Medication Administration: Epinephrine Auto-Injectors (Full Course)
10. Sexual Harassment: Student Issues & Response (Full Course)
11. Sexual Misconduct: Staff-to-Student (Full Course)

All staff must complete DCF training located at this link.

1. When staff completes each training course, they should print out (to PDF) the certificate and email it to the HR department.
2. The HR department will enter their completion date into their database and add the certificate to the staff files.
