Using the Template Feature

    Using templates provides your team with a reliable starting point for creating procedures, policies, or processes. This ensures that everyone begins with a foundation that aligns with organization standards and best practices. By starting from a trusted template, team members can focus on refining and customizing the content, reducing time spent on initial setup and minimizing errors. This approach fosters consistency across documents and enables efficient updates and adaptations when needed.


    Permissions

    Only super managers may create and manage templates
    All team members may use existing templates to create their procedures, policies and processes

      Select and Mark a Document as a Template

      In the three dots menu, select the "Mark as template" option.

      View and manage templates created so far

      The list of templates created so far is available in the Templates dashboard (linked above). You can create new documents based on the templates you see here, view individual templates and also 'Delete' templates.

      The delete option will not delete the underlying document. It will only delete the template from this template list so that it is no longer available to create future documents.

      Use the Template to Create New Documents

      To create a new document, go to the template and click the 'Use this template' button.
