Step 1: Download and Install the SweetProcess Chrome Extension

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to install the SweetProcess Chrome extension.

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store on your Chrome browser.

2. Search for the record procedure & SOPs extension by typing “SweetProcess” in the search bar. Select the search result that appears.

At this stage, the extension is ready to use. However, you won’t be able to use the procedure you create without a SweetProcess account, so we recommend claiming the 14-day FREE trial before starting the process. 

Step 2: Capture the Steps on Your Computer Screen

You’ve successfully installed the SweetProcess Chrome extension. Now it’s time to start recording your screen actions. Here’s everything you need to do.

1. Click the SweetProcess icon and click “Capture Procedure.”

2. Begin navigating the web. The extension will automatically screen record your actions, including clicks and keystrokes, and take screenshots of significant steps as you perform tasks.

3. After completing the process you want to document, click the “Stop” button at the bottom left of your screen to end the capture and record your procedures.

After clicking “Stop” in the previous step, a new page containing the recorded steps will appear in a separate tab. Click the “Add to my account” button to import the recorded steps into your SweetProcess account.

Step 4: Edit and Customize Your SOPs

Once complete, a new screen displays automatically where you can review the recent screen capture. After adding the steps to your SweetProcess account, you can edit them, remove unnecessary screenshots, or rearrange the order as needed.
