How to verify the connection of the Deggy Control ports

This article explains how to check if the TCP ports required for Deggy Control operation are open or closed. 

Deggy Control needs outbound TCP ports 9090 and 49150 open to deggywebai.com

    Turn on Telnet Client

    1. Press the Windows key and type "Windows features" in the search bar. Then, select Turn Windows features on or off

    2. Tick the Telnet Client checkbox and click OK

    Check the Ports

    1. Press the Windows key + R, then type "cmd.exe" and click OK

    2. Enter "telnet deggywebai.com 9090" to run the telnet command in Command Prompt and test the TCP port status.

    3. If the port is open, only a cursor will show:

      If the port is closed, a message will say Connect failed

    4. Repeat step b to the port 49150: "telnet deggywebai.com 49150"
