How to use the Steel Pen and DLS Solution
The Steel Pen is the Button (checkpoint) reader. It is used to touch the Buttons placed on site which indicates personnel presence. Each Button that is touch is recorded into the Pen's internal memory along with a date/time stamp. The data is stored within the Steel Pen's memory until it is downloaded using the DLS.
The DLS (downloading station) is the stationary option for downloading the Steel Pen's data. The DLS is connected via USB to a Windows computer where the downloaded data can be managed locally or on a network to create Reports.
